Built in Chicago for the shops that build Chicago

Where the money leaks

Most Shops Don’t Lose Jobs on Price. They Lose Them on Speed.

Whether you run a structural steel shop, a sheet metal fabrication shop or a contract manufacturer, metal fabrication marketing comes down to one thing: being found by the right buyer and answering them first. Here’s where most shops lose that race.

🌙

After-hours RFQs go cold

Buyers research at night and on weekends. By the time someone calls back, they’ve moved on to the shop that answered.

⏱️

Estimators chase tire-kickers

Half the requests are missing material, quantity or a deadline, and your most expensive people spend hours just asking.

🔍

Your capabilities are buried

Engineers want thicknesses, tolerances and certifications in seconds. If they have to dig, they bounce.

🤖

Invisible to AI search

ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers now recommend fabricators. If your site doesn’t explain what you do clearly, you’re not on the list.

One RFQ, start to finish

The 9:47 PM Story

  1. 9:47 PM

    An engineer finds you

They searched “laser cutting A36 plate Chicago” or asked an AI. Your site comes up, fast and clear on a phone.

  2. 9:49 PM

    Your AI answers

It confirms you cut 3/8" A36 and asks the right questions: quantity, finish, drawings, deadline, delivery.

  3. 9:52 PM

    The RFQ is logged

Specs, contact info and the whole conversation land in Carma CRM. Your estimator gets an email.

  4. 7:30 AM

    Your estimator calls

No back-and-forth. They already know the job, so the first call is about the quote.

  5. 11:45 AM

    Quote out by lunch

While competitors are still returning voicemails.

Trained on your shop

It Knows What Your Best Estimator Knows.

We load your real capabilities, so the assistant answers like someone who has walked your floor, and stays inside what you approve.

What Is Slow Follow-Up Costing You?

Revenue at risk each year $720,000
If you win back half$360,000
Extra jobs per year14

Based on your inputs: slow RFQs × your win rate × average job value. The “win back half” line assumes faster answers recover half of those jobs. Your mileage will vary, which is exactly what the review call is for.

Built for Chicago’s trades

Speaks Your Customers’ (and Your Crew’s) Language.

Contractors, foremen and buyers don’t all reach for English first. Your assistant answers in English, Spanish, Polish and German, starts in each visitor’s language, and tags every RFQ with the language your team should reply in.

EN

“Can you bend 10-gauge stainless?”

ES

“¿Pueden cortar placa de 3/8 con láser?”

PL

“Czy spawacie konstrukcje stalowe?”

DE

“Liefern Sie nach Wisconsin?”

Questions From Shop Owners

Will the AI give customers prices?

No. It’s trained to never quote prices or promise ship dates. It confirms what you can make, collects the specs, and hands the RFQ to your estimator, who quotes like you always have.

Can it handle real technical questions?

Yes, within what you teach it. We load your processes, materials, thickness ranges, tolerances, certifications, capacities and service area. If a question goes beyond that, it says so and routes it to a person instead of guessing.

What happens with our customer information?

Conversations and leads are stored on your own website and in your own CRM, not in a shared database. AI responses are generated through OpenAI’s API, which doesn’t use that data to train its models by default. Only your team sees the RFQs.

Does it work in Spanish or Polish?

Yes. The assistant speaks English, Spanish (Mexico), Polish and German, starts in each visitor’s language, and labels every lead with the language your team should reply in.

Do you only work with Chicago fabricators?

We’re based in Chicago and know the Midwest manufacturing market well, but we build websites, SEO and AI assistants for steel fabricators and metal manufacturers anywhere in the U.S. Everything runs online, and your senior partner is a call away.

How long does it take to launch?

About six weeks for the full system: website, AI assistant, CRM and SEO. If you already have a solid website, the AI assistant and CRM can go live in as little as two weeks.

What does it cost?

It depends on what you need. Some shops start with the AI assistant on their existing site; others want the full Blu Horizon™ system. Book a 20-minute RFQ pipeline review and you’ll leave with a clear plan and real numbers.

20 minutes. Real answers.
